High Reliability PI

DESCRIPTION:

Do you ever struggle with healthcare performance improvement projects turning into eternal committee meetings that feel like all talk and no action? Let’s look at key ways that we can increase the reliability of projects to consistently be completed as projects by ensuring the accountability of all people involved. We will consider roles, responsibilities, requirements, and report outs.   

 

COST:
FREE event for members of AzAHQ, FAHQ, MAHQ, NEAHQ, OAHQ, NCAHQ, and OrAHQ by selecting your association's ticket type.

             Non-members: $35.    Registration ends midnight 12/3/2023

 

CE: This event is approved by NAHQ for 1.0 CPHQ CE credits.

Patrick Schultz is a Clinical Nurse Specialist that moved into the quality and safety realm in 2012 and hasn’t left it. He has had a variety of prior roles from Quality Improvement Specialist, Quality Director, Lead Clinical Standardization Administrator, and Chief Nursing Officer. He is currently a Quality Director for a 600-bed medical center in Arizona.

OBJECTIVES: 

  1. Participants will be able to describe ways to improve reliability of improvement projects.
  2. Participants will be able to complete a report out tool.
