Reconnecting on the Journey to High Reliability

April 14th, 2023  08:00-4:30  Az/Phoenix Time
In-Person and Virtual

Description:

This deep dive into high reliability will show how high reliability and high reliability organizing (HRO) are common success factors in quality and safety – with the potential to reduce loss events by 80% every two years and demonstrated by a detailed case study of 15 years of deploying these methods at Sentara Healthcare. Next, a detailed analysis of unexpected deaths and preventable mortality will identify the differences between high- and low-performing rapid response systems to identify best practices.  Finally, attendees will be presented with mind-changing ideas to create the desire for motivation and self-improvement to increase productivity and results.
