SPEAKERS: Amy Bell, DNP, RNC-OB, NEA-BC, CPHQ, FAWHONN is the Associate Director for the DNP Program and an Assistant Professor for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Department of Academic Nursing, part of Advocate (Atrium) Health.
Tinisha Lambeth, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC is the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Department of Academic Nursing and a seasoned neonatal nurse practitioner with over 20 years of NICU experience.

- Describe the principles of quality improvement (QI) methodology and their relevance to personal and professional self-care practices.
- Identifying common barriers to effective self-care and their impact on well-being and performance.
- Applying QI tools such as PDSA cycles, key driver diagrams, and SMART goals to develop and evaluate self-care strategies.
- Designing a personal self-care improvement plan using data driven decision-making and continuous improvement concepts.
- Promoting a culture of wellness and resilience by integrating QI methods into daily routines and leadership practices.
