SPEAKER: Jay Spitulnik, Ph.D. is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of the Health Informatics Graduate Program at Northeaster Universiity in Boston.
Description: Change management in healthcare is essential for improving healthcare quality by enabling smooth transitions, reducing resistance, and ensuring sustained improvements. A well-planned approach to change benefits patients, providers, and the entire healthcare system, ultimately leading to better health outcomes and operational.

- Explain why change is necessary to refocus on what matters to the patient
- Define the important relationship between change management and project management in healthcare quality management activities
