Description: Health systems need to design and implement virtual nursing models to help support the nurse at the bedside—but never to replace the nurse at the bedside because that human touch is what patients will always need.  Join us to learn how Spaulding Rehabilitation Network is achieving this goal.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Apply the STEEEP (Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, and Patient-Centered) principles to the facilitation of high-quality virtual visits.
  2. Identify critical aspects of patient-centered virtual visits, including individualized assessments, communication strategies, and inter-professional coordination.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of a pilot program in improving nurses' competency and self-efficacy in facilitating patient-centered virtual visits.
