This training will provide an overview of telehealth and will spotlight the success of Valleywise Health, the safety net system for Maricopa County (Phoenix), Arizona. Presenters will review various models for telehealth deployment, technology solutions, successes with rapid deployment during the COVID-19 pandemic and lessons learned for using telehealth to deliver behavioral health services to individuals with general mental health, substance use conditions and serious mental illness/serious persistent mental illness (SMI/SPMI).
1. To review best practices and models for deploying telehealth.
2. To gain insights from lessons learned implementing telehealth within a county safety-net system
3. To deep dive into lessons learned when using telehealth for behavioral health services.
